Nik and I enjoyed writing them very much, I miss her still. And I definitely have plans to post the other three stories.

Thank you so much for your lovely e-mail. It’s so very nice to know that my Dark Shadows stories have an audience where readers like you appreciate Willie and his horrible, confusing miserable life! When I watched the series, I always felt that he had the worst burden to bear among all the characters, and yet, most of the focus always was on Barnabas, who was a class A jerk.

That is, until I met Nik (NJ Nidiffer), who agreed with me 100% about Willie and his plight. To write with her was not like writing with another person, more, it was like writing with another part of my brain, and a very inventive one at that. We loved being mean to him, and giving him more reasons to suffer from Stockholm Syndrome, even though the term hadn’t been invented yet. Thank you for your condolences about Nik; I will never find another writing partner like her.

I don’t have a problem with you using Gina Lee; just be sure to put credit where credit is due, for example, include a link to the first story on my site.

Keep in mind two things: Gina Lee was invented by Nik in her story, Deep Water, so, you know, be kind to her. She’s had a rough life, too, although she could probably take some more crap, if you need it for the story. I guess I’m saying treat her with respect. Well, you know Gina, she’ll insist upon it.

Second, in my verse, Julia Hoffman doesn’t exist. That is, she doesn’t show up evar! Or at the very least, she doesn’t show up until after Gina leaves the scene. I can’t stand Julia Hoffman’s character, I think she was inorganic (put in the story for reasons having to do more with ratings and less to do with the actual needs of the story), and is intrusive and the whole love interest thing between her and Barn really chaps my hide! So…I guess you’d have to indicate that your timeline is like an alternate timeline or universe. I don’t have a problem with that.

PS There are a couple more stories to be posted, Shell, and Stone, and Water, all of which are sad! They take before the last story, which is The Gift of the Master. I will endeavor to post them. : D

I just wanted to say thank you to you and Ms. Nidiffer for this wonderful series. Willie Loomis forever!! I always liked him better than Barnabas.

I am working on my own fanfiction about them and having a ball. My Barn has been cured and is looking back over his life and realizing what Willie meant to him.

One question: will you be posting the three stories listed at the end of the series (Water-Stone-Shells)? I am dying for some more. I need some closure for Gina Lee and Willie!

I’ve been reading these stories over and over. I recently re-discovered Dark Shadows and my love of the Willie Loomis character came back to me (everybody else was crazy for Barnabas and I was always watching Willie!)
I’m a writer and working on my own fanfiction to do with Barnabas and Willie.

Are you going to post the titles listed at the end (Shells-Stone-Water)? I am dying for more, and I need closure between Willie and Gina Lee.
